Though in the flesh, Moses was still; in the spirit he was calling out to the Lord, engaging in Spiritual warfare. Our triumph in the Spiritual warfare can only be attained through stillness in prayer (a spiritual discipline called “Hesychia” Psalm 45:11 LXX) and through the sign of the cross.exodus17
